Your meeting invitation will include the passcode. Attendees who click the link in the invite to join will not have to enter the passcode. If an attendee enters the meeting ID into their Zoom application or online to join, they will have to locate and type the passcode to join the meeting. When adding a passcode after a meeting invite has been sent, you MUST re-send the invite so participants receive the passcode to join the meeting.

Whether you are using the Zoom plugin for Outlook, the Zoom desktop application, or in the Zoom web portal, you can add a passcode to a new meeting during scheduling. Select Require meeting password and enter the code, which will then appear in the meeting invite. Head to the Zoom website , and sign into your account. Once logged in, click My Account in the top-right corner of the homepage.

Click Schedule in the top-right corner. This will open a form where you can fill out the meeting topic and description, as well as set the date and time. You’ll also have the option to schedule it as a recurring meeting. Edit all of the details and when you’re done, scroll to the bottom and click the Save button.

On the next page, you have the option to add the meeting to your Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, or Yahoo Calendar. Or, you can copy the invitation link and share it with your guests. Open the Zoom desktop app on your computer and sign in, if you’re not already. On the Home tab , click the Schedule button. Choose your Video , Calendar , and Security settings. In the Advanced Options section, you can choose additional settings, like muting participants as soon as they enter the meeting.

Click the blue Save button when you’re done. Your scheduled meetings will appear on the right side of the Home tab. You can also view your scheduled meetings in the Meetings tab of the app. Enter the meeting name and set the date and time. Tap Save in the top-right corner when you’re done. Zoom will automatically open an email to share your meeting invitation. Enter in the email addresses of people you want to invite, then click the up arrow to send. Another way to share the meeting invitation is to go to the Meetings tab and select the meeting you’ve just scheduled.

A toolbar will then appear and you can add text, drawings, arrows, etc. When you are muted or when you are in a big meeting, you can now use meeting reactions to show your feedback using an emoji without interrupting the meeting. The emoji will appear at the top left of your window so that others can see your feedback.

The Emoji will disappear after 5 seconds. Zoom also supports a lot of keyboard shortcuts to save your time on actions that you are likely to perform frequently. Sometimes people might just forget to mute their audios. To help keep the communication clear, the host of a meeting has the option to mute everyone in the meeting at once.
